About Maserati

Maserati was founded in Bologna in 1914 by the Maserati brothers; the trident in its badge is taken from the Neptune fountain in Bologna. In 1937 the Orsi family took over, and the company moved to Modena, where it is still based.

Maserati won races and, in 1957, the Formula One world championship with Juan Manuel Fangio in the 250F. Its road cars include the 3500 GT, Ghibli, Bora and Merak, the Quattroporte sedan (since 1963), the GranTurismo, the Levante and Grecale SUVs and the MC20. Maserati is now part of Stellantis.

On this page you will find the Maserati models in the 1CARS catalog with their production years. Each model leads to its generations and versions with engines, power in kW and PS, dimensions and performance – where the manufacturer or a reliable source publishes them. The full story is told in Maserati's history. More fast cars are collected in our supercars section.
