About Venturi
Venturi began in 1984 as MVS (Manufacture de Voitures de Sport), founded by Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy, former engineers at Heuliez, to build French grand tourers. Its mid-engined coupés and Transcup convertibles used Renault-sourced V6 engines; the 400 GT of 1994 was among the first production cars with carbon brakes as standard, and the Atlantique followed.
After a bankruptcy, the company was bought in 2000 by Gildo Pallanca Pastor and moved to Monaco, where it turned to electric vehicles: the Fétish electric sports car, the Buckeye Bullet land-speed cars and a Formula E team from the first season in 2014.
