Car statistics and trends, 1920–2026
How cars changed decade by decade — power, engines, drivetrains, gearboxes, EV range, size and model lifecycles. Every chart is computed from the 1CARS catalog and comes with the data table, a note on the method and a free CSV download. The figures describe the cars in our catalog, not the whole market.
