Venturi Fetish

Venturi is a special car brand. That’s why it is difficult to consider any one particular model. In 1984, the first Venturi was released, which was to become a prototype of Venturi Fetish – a premium sports coupe. Venturi became famous for creating two-seater cars on the basis of sports Porsche and Ferrari. In 1996, she introduced the Atlantique 300, which repeated the features of the Venturi 260, but was equipped with a more powerful engine with 6 cylinders.

In the same year, the Venturi 210 convertible was taken out of production, but never lived up to expectations. It is noteworthy that just a couple of years ago, the French car brand went bankrupt. But it was never allowed to bend over. In 1997, the long-suffering brand was bought by the Thai car manufacturer Nakarin Benz and already in 2002 presented the exclusive by the standards of that time sports car Venturi Fetish. Already then it became clear that the car can compete with such bison as Porsche and Ferrari. Muscular and at the same time unusually soft body lines have made the car powerful and fast enough outwardly. Thanks to the use of composite materials and aluminum, the body and chassis are lightweight, and the weight of the car was reduced. Interior

Perhaps the best electric motor at the time was used in this particular brand of car. It is a VM300 engine with a power of 300 horsepower and 380 Nm (Torque). The batteries used in the prototype of the car were later replaced by even more powerful ones, having equipped them with a liquid cooling system. Venturi Automobiles produces no more than 25 Fetish cars every year. There are many reasons for this limited edition, and one of them is the manual assembly of even the smallest parts. At the same time, only very wealthy citizens become the owners of the car, because this miracle of the car industry costs at least 300 thousand euros. Basically, luxury electric cars travel to such cities as Tokyo, Los Angeles, Monte Carlo, London and Paris.

Summing up

So, small-scale production is good, cars are bought well. The first thing I want to note is the absolute exclusivity of this model. We are accustomed to seeing electric cars bulky and clumsy, which can drive only from one charge. And here – the whole 350 km, decent speed, and also nice appearance. Among electric cars Fetish is one of the best, without a doubt. But the price bites.
