About Plymouth
Plymouth was introduced by Walter P. Chrysler in 1928 as Chrysler's low-priced brand, competing with Ford and Chevrolet, and for many years it was one of America's three best-selling car brands.
Plymouth is remembered for muscle cars – the Road Runner, Barracuda and 'Cuda, GTX and Superbird – for the Fury, Valiant and Duster, the Voyager minivan of 1984 and the Prowler hot rod of 1997. Chrysler discontinued the brand in 2001.
