About Bentley
Bentley Motors was founded in London in 1919 by W. O. Bentley. Its early sports cars won the Le Mans 24 Hours five times between 1924 and 1930, driven by the "Bentley Boys". In 1931 the company was taken over by Rolls-Royce, and for decades Bentleys shared their engineering with Rolls-Royce models.
Since 1998 Bentley has belonged to the Volkswagen Group and builds its cars in Crewe, Cheshire. The modern range is led by the Continental GT grand tourer, launched in 2003, the Flying Spur sedan and the Bentayga SUV, following earlier models such as the Mulsanne and the Arnage.
