About Chrysler

Chrysler was founded by Walter P. Chrysler in 1925 from the Maxwell Motor Company. Chrysler Corporation grew into one of Detroit's "Big Three", adding Dodge in 1928 as well as the Plymouth and DeSoto brands.

Chrysler cars are remembered for the streamlined Airflow of 1934 and the 300 "letter series" from 1955; the corporation introduced its minivans in 1983, which led to the Town & Country and the Pacifica, and the 300C sedan followed in 2004. Chrysler was owned by Daimler from 1998 to 2007, came under Fiat from 2009 and is now part of Stellantis.
