Which Jogger to choose
Our verdict · Felix Hartmann
- For the lowest running costs: the ECO-G 120 on LPG, also the cheapest Jogger.
- For town traffic and an automatic: the Hybrid 155.
- For a large family on a budget: the TCe 110 Journey seven-seater.
- For a used buy: a Hybrid 140 from 2023–2025, the first hybrid version of the Jogger.
The Jogger's base model is covered in our guide to the Renault Sandero, and two of the cars it replaced in the articles on the Dacia Logan MCV and the Renault Lodgy. All versions are in the Dacia catalogue.
The Dacia Jogger is a five- or seven-seat family car unveiled on 3 September 2021 and shown at the Munich Motor Show three days later. It is a long-wheelbase estate based on the third-generation Sandero and Logan and replaced three Dacia models at once: the Logan MCV, the Lodgy and the passenger version of the Dokker. It was built in Mioveni, Romania, until 2024 and has been built in Tangier, Morocco, since July 2024. A heavy facelift followed on 6 October 2025.

Development and launch
Dacia announced the name in August 2021 and unveiled the Jogger on 3 September 2021. Designer Alain Muschi gave it crossover design elements, but it is not classified as an SUV. The car is jointly produced and marketed with Renault.
In June 2022 the Jogger received Dacia's new logo, a modified grille and new trims. The Hybrid 140 was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in October 2022, with orders from January 2023 and first deliveries in March 2023. An optional factory Sleep Pack, which turns the Jogger into a small camper, and the Extreme trim were shown at the Brussels Motor Show in March 2023.

The Hybrid 155 of the facelift has a 1.4 kWh battery. In North Africa a 1.5 dCi diesel with 74 kW (100 PS) is offered.
The Hybrid 140 in the test
Autonotizen.de tested the Jogger Hybrid 140 in February 2023. Dacia gives 0–100 km/h in 10 seconds and a top speed of 167 km/h. The on-board computer showed 5.5 l/100 km against a WLTP figure of 4.9 l/100 km. The battery has a gross capacity of 1.2 kWh, of which 0.55 kWh is usable. The boot holds 607 litres with five seats and 160 litres with all seven in place.

- The Jogger's 2,897 mm wheelbase is 195 mm longer than that of the Dacia Bigster SUV (2,702 mm).
Practicality
The Jogger's strength is space for its price. With five seats the boot holds 607 litres, and folding the rear seats raises it to 1,819 litres in the Hybrid 155, an extra 1,212 litres. With the third row in use, 160 litres remain. Wikipedia gives a kerb weight of 1,176 to 1,385 kg for the range.
The Jogger also has a larger boot than the Bigster SUV: at 4,547 mm it is 23 mm shorter than the Bigster (4,570 mm), yet its five-seat boot is 61 litres larger (607 against 546 litres).
Safety and reliability
Euro NCAP gave the Jogger one star in 2021 for its standard European specification, using results from the Sandero Stepway. ADAC recorded 13.3 breakdowns per 1,000 vehicles for Joggers registered in 2022 and 13.4 for 2023.
