- Highline is characterized by the use of options such as: 150 hp engine as basic equipment, all the above functions, panoramic roof, navigation system. All-wheel drive cars with multi-disc clutch will also be available.
What’s the price of Volkswagen Tharu?
The novelty is built on the basis of Skoda and is an affordable alternative for those who can not afford expensive Tiguan. The car is oriented to South and North America. Nevertheless, VW Tharu is available from official dealers in Russia for 1 million 339 thousand rubles. The price of the flagship version in the maximum configuration reaches 2 million 59 thousand rubles.
Given the decent technical characteristics of the VW Tharu and its attractive appearance, Volkswagen has managed to implement the principle of “Big car for small money”. According to the latest data, global dealers will start selling Tharu in 2020. Russian sales will start earlier – in the middle of 2019.
Volkswagen promised to adapt Tharu for the Russian Federation by installing such unique options as a reinforced battery, crankcase protection, and an enlarged washer tank. Unlike other markets, the 110 hp 1.6-litre engine should be available for Russia. Three-cylinder engines with supercharging are not expected yet.
