Facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 6: UK Prices, 84 kWh Battery and Up to 679 km
Hyundai has opened UK orders for the facelifted Ioniq 6 electric saloon, with deliveries planned for early 2027. Every British version gets the 84 kWh battery as standard, and the cheapest model is priced about £5,000 (around €6,000 in 2026) below a Tesla Model 3, electrive and Auto Express reported on 29 October.

Key takeaways
- Five versions in three trims: Premium, N Line and N Line Evo, rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
- Entry price £33,240 (about €39,600 in 2026), including the £3,750 Electric Car Grant.
- 84 kWh battery on all UK cars; up to 422 miles (679 km) WLTP for the Premium.
- The facelift was first shown in April 2025 and went on sale in Germany in January 2026.

Battery and range
In Germany the entry version is also offered with a smaller 63 kWh battery, but the UK range uses the 84 kWh pack across the board. Hyundai quotes up to 422 miles (679 km) on the WLTP cycle for the Premium, and up to 364 miles (586 km) for the rear-wheel-drive N Line and N Line Evo, which ride on larger wheels.
Equipment
- Premium: 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats and steering wheel, a heat pump and twin 12.3-inch screens.
- N Line: 20-inch wheels and a sportier look inside and out.
- N Line Evo: adds ventilated front seats, a head-up display, a sunroof and Bose audio.
The heat pump on every version is worth noting: it helps keep winter range losses down, which matters in a cold British or northern European winter.
What it means for you
If you are choosing an electric saloon in the UK, the Ioniq 6 Premium is now one of the cheapest ways into a long-range car with a large battery, and it undercuts the Tesla Model 3 by about £5,000 at 2026 prices. If you want all-wheel drive, the 2026 price jumps by more than £7,000 (about €8,300) and the grant no longer applies in full, so the rear-wheel-drive N Line is the sweet spot for most buyers. Buyers in the EU should check local prices: the 63 kWh entry version sold in Germany may suit drivers who mainly do shorter trips.
