Key takeaways

  • Prices start at €74,600 in Germany in 2026, and €74,990 to €75,990 in France, Austria and the Netherlands.
  • Up to 591 km of WLTP range from a 110 kWh battery.
  • DC charging at up to 540 kW, with 10-80% in under 12 minutes.
  • First deliveries are planned for December 2026; European cars are assembled by Magna Steyr in Austria.

Versions and prices

The G9L is 5.12 m long. At launch Europe gets the Ultra trim only, in three versions, with German 2026 prices:

  • RWD Long Range Ultra, seven seats: 270 kW (362 bhp), up to 591 km WLTP, from €74,600 in 2026.
  • AWD Performance Ultra, six seats: 430 kW (577 bhp), up to 553 km WLTP, from €79,600 in 2026.
  • AWD Performance Ultra, seven seats: same drivetrain, from €85,600 in 2026.

The six-seat version has two individual seats in the second row. Carscoops compares the price with the plug-in hybrid BMW X5 50e xDrive, which starts at €102,800 in 2026. XPeng also showed a range-extender version with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that only generates electricity, but the European price list published so far covers the electric versions.

Charging and equipment

The G9L uses an 800 V system with DC charging at up to 540 kW. Under ideal conditions a 10-80% charge takes under 12 minutes, although few European chargers currently offer 540 kW. A 22 kW AC charger is standard.

Inside there is Nappa leather throughout, heated and ventilated front and second-row seats with massage, and heated third-row seats that split 50:50. The dashboard has a 17.3-inch central screen and a head-up display, and second-row passengers get a 21.4-inch screen that folds down from the roof. Carscoops also lists a 26-speaker audio system and a refrigerator.

Production and markets

The G9L will be sold in 64 markets. European cars are assembled by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria, which already builds the XPeng G6, G9 and P7+ for Europe. A pre-production car was driven 1,324 km from Graz to Paris for the show.

What it means for you

The G9L offers a large seven-seat electric SUV with very fast charging for far less than established premium brands ask for a similar size. Before ordering, check the local dealer and service network, the warranty terms and how much of the 540 kW charging speed your usual chargers can actually deliver.
