Zeekr is a Chinese premium electric car brand founded by Geely in March 2021 and headquartered in Ningbo. Its cars are built on Geely's SEA electric vehicle platform.
The first model was the Zeekr 001, launched in 2021. It was followed in 2023 by the 007 saloon, the 009 people carrier and the compact X SUV, and in 2024 by the 7X SUV and the Mix. Zeekr entered Europe in 2023, starting with Sweden and the Netherlands. In May 2024 it went public on the New York Stock Exchange. In November 2024 it agreed to take a majority stake in Lynk & Co, a deal completed in February 2025. In July 2025 Geely Auto signed an agreement to buy the remaining Zeekr shares, and in December 2025 the privatisation was completed: Zeekr was delisted and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Geely Auto.
