Perodua, in full Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua, is Malaysia's largest car maker. It was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Sungai Choh, Rawang, Selangor, where its plant is also located. Its shareholders include UMW Holdings, Daihatsu, MBM Resources and Mitsui.
The first Perodua, the Kancil small car, was launched in August 1994. It was followed by the Kenari of 2000 and the Kelisa of 2001, both since discontinued. The current range is led by the Perodua Myvi, a compact hatchback introduced in 2005 and based at first on the Daihatsu Boon, which was Malaysia's best-selling car every year from 2006 to 2014 and again from 2018 to 2022, and also includes the Axia city car of 2014, the Bezza saloon of 2016, the Aruz SUV of 2019 and the Ativa crossover of 2021. In 2025 Perodua introduced the QV-E, a battery-electric crossover SUV and its first electric model. See also Daihatsu and Proton.
