Li Auto is a Chinese maker of electric and range-extender vehicles headquartered in Beijing. The founder, Li Xiang, established the company in 2015 as Beijing Chehejia Information Technology; its holding company was renamed Leading Ideal in 2019 and Li Auto in 2020. Its shares have traded on Nasdaq under the ticker LI since July 2020.

Li Auto is known above all for range-extender SUVs, in which electric motors drive the wheels and a petrol engine works as a generator. The first model, the Li One, was launched in 2019 and discontinued in 2022. It was replaced by the L Series: the L8 and the Li Auto L9 in 2022, followed by the L7 in 2023. The fully electric Mega people carrier arrived in 2024 and the i8 SUV in 2025, opening the all-electric i Series. The cars are built at the company's plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu province.
