About Bogdan
Bogdan is a Ukrainian automotive group headquartered in Kyiv. It grew out of Bogdan Motors, created in 1993; the corporation itself was formed in 2005. Its plants were in Lutsk – the former LuAZ factory, which built buses and trolleybuses – and in Cherkasy, which built buses, trucks and passenger cars.
Bogdan city buses and trolleybuses such as the A092, A201 and T701 served many Ukrainian cities, while the Cherkasy plant assembled Hyundai cars and built the Bogdan 2310 pickup. The group also made special-purpose and military vehicles. Production at its own factories stopped around 2020.
