Bertone Pirana 1967

About Bertone

Carrozzeria Bertone was an Italian design house and coachbuilder founded in Turin in 1912 by Giovanni Bertone. Under his son Nuccio it became one of the most influential car design studios in the world, where designers such as Giorgetto Giugiaro and Marcello Gandini worked.

Bertone shaped the Lamborghini Miura and Countach, the Lancia Stratos, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT and Montreal and the Fiat X1/9, built bodies in series for other manufacturers and showed many concept cars, such as the Pirana of 1967. The company went bankrupt in 2014.
