About JAC
JAC Motors (Anhui Jianghuai Automobile) is a Chinese state-owned vehicle maker founded in 1964 in Hefei, Anhui province. Light trucks have long been its core business.
JAC also builds buses and passenger cars – the Refine MPVs, the S-series (later JS) SUVs, sedans and electric models. It has a joint venture with Volkswagen (Volkswagen Anhui) and for several years built cars for the electric-car brand NIO.
