SSC North America is an American maker of hypercars based in Richland, Washington. It was founded by Jerod Shelby as Shelby SuperCars in 1998 or 1999, and took the name SSC North America in 2012 after a settlement with companies licensing Carroll Shelby's name.

The first car was the Ultimate Aero, whose first prototype was completed in 2004. On 13 September 2007 Guinness World Records certified it as the fastest production car, with an average of 412 km/h (256 mph) over two runs. Its successor, the SSC Tuatara, was first shown as a design at the Dubai International Motor Show; production began in 2020 and is limited to 100 cars. In October 2020 SSC claimed a run of 316.1 mph with the Tuatara, but later withdrew the claim. On 17 January 2021 the owner Larry Caplin averaged 455.3 km/h (282.9 mph) at the Kennedy Space Center.
