There are two engines on the Russian market. This is a 6-cylinder V-shaped “atmospheric” engine with a volume of 3.0 liters and running on gasoline. Its return is an impressive 209 horsepower, capable of accelerating the two-ton jeep to the first hundred kilometers in 11.7 seconds.
The maximum speed is 182 km/h. It also consumes a lot of power unit – when driving in the city it will have an appetite of about 14.5 liters for every 100 km of the road. The diesel has a turbine with variable geometry and variable phase change mechanism. The engine torque has increased by 30 Nm, and fuel economy has increased by 15% – the increase is felt. Unfortunately, there is no engine and cabin preheater.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport received a Super Select II all-wheel drive system and an eight-range automatic transmission Aisin.
