The Lamborghini Aventador is an all-wheel-drive mid-engine supercar of the premium class, provided in 2 body variants: coupe and roadster (removable hardtop). The car has received an elegant design, luxurious level of performance, advanced technology and high-performance “stuffing”.

The new car was supposed to replace the Lamborghini Murcielago. It happened in March 2011 during the international Geneva Motor Show. Lamborghini Aventador Roadster appeared in November 2012. In 2016, the car underwent a planned restyling. As a result, the “Italian” received an updated exterior, interior and reconfigured suspension.
Judging by Lamborghini promotional materials, the Aventador is a famous bull, which was raised by the sons of Don Celestino Cuadri Vides. The latter became famous after one of the bloodiest fights in Zaragoza, for which he received the prestigious “Trofeo de la Pena La Madronera” award for outstanding bravery in the arena. The prefix LP 700-4 at the end refers to the technical data of the vehicle, where 700 is the horsepower and 4 is the all-wheel drive system.
Lamborghini Aventador (2011-present)
The mid-engined two-door car was shown in the spring of 2011, and in 2016 the updated Lamborghini Aventador, which received the prefix “S”, came out. The car got a stunning exterior, sporty interior, a powerful engine and very “capable” equipment.
The exterior of the Lamborghini Aventador was the responsibility of designer Felippo Perini, who made the exterior in the style of the other vehicles of the brand. The car is equipped with a lot of angular shapes. It is difficult to find smooth outlines. And this is for a reason. Such a decision allows improving aerodynamics. Although it is easier to achieve this for the cars which have smoother forms, they did it more for the purpose of recognizability of the car brand.
In addition, with such angular forms the car gets more aggressive appearance. Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is quite low. To understand it better, just compare your height and the height of this car – 113 cm. In the car a lot of carbon fiber is used, so it was possible to significantly reduce the weight. Weight of the body itself is 148 kg.
The front area boasts an embossed hood, transitioning to a beautiful bumper with 2 massive air intakes. They are needed to cool the front brakes of the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and are connected by a crossbar. With the help of beautiful front optics the car becomes more aggressive.
The body structure of the Italian car has a specially patented technology of super strong composite materials with very high rigidity, which exceeds this parameter of other supercars by 20-50 percent!
The side of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 shows the extent to which the engineers have gone to great lengths on the aerodynamic theme. The upper part has a prominent highlighting towards the aft area. Below this emphasis, the developers have placed the door opening handle, so it does not interfere with the aerodynamics of the vehicle.
At the bottom you can see a huge chamfer, which goes to the massive air intake, which in turn should cool the power unit itself with air. The exterior mirrors stand on a big leg. It is difficult to call them compact, so they have good visibility. The height of clearance is modest 100 millimeters. The updated Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4S boasts 21-inch rear wheels and 20-inch front wheels.
As for the stern of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700, it got a nice narrow, LED stuffing, as well as a unique shape of the rear area itself. In addition, there is a place for a massive and stylish bumper, which has a diffuser and exhaust system of oval type.

It also has a 60-degree camber, multiple fuel injection, variable valve timing, a dry-sump lubrication system, and a 48-valve timing system. As a result, the Lamborghini Aventador engine generates 740 horsepower (690 Nm).
Together with such a powerful “engine” works seven-band robotized gearbox, which has one double-clutch and technology of individual actuators for each gear (ISR). In addition, specialists have installed an all-wheel drive transmission with electronically controlled Haldex 4th generation clutch in the drive of the front wheels and a rear mechanical self-locking differential.
Already in 2.9 seconds the hypercar accelerated to the first hundred, and 8.8 seconds later it reached the speed mark of 200 kilometers per hour. “Lamba” gets over the mark of 400 km/h in 24.2 seconds. However, the “top speed” does not exceed 350 kilometers per hour. In combined mode, the fuel consumption of the Lamborghini Aventador is 16.9 liters per every 100 kilometers. As a base, the engineers decided to resort to a carbon fiber monocoque, which is a closed capsule, with built-in aluminum tabs to which the subframes are bolted.
As for the hood, spoiler and rear air intakes, they were made of carbon fiber, while the rest of the body elements are aluminum. All wheels have independent double wishbone suspensions with horizontally placed springs and shock absorbers filled with magnetorheological fluid, as well as stabilizers of transverse stability.
The basic package already has six airbags, multimedia system, bi-xenon headlights, LED lights, combined interior trim, electric front seat drive, ABS, EBD, ESP, TCS, front and rear parking sensors, dual-zone “climate”, audio system for 7 speakers and more. The cost is constantly varying. As of 2018, you can buy the car for at least $274,039.40.
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (2018-present)
In August 2018, the company decided to show the most extreme variant, which is called Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. As for the abbreviation itself, it is an abbreviation of the words “Super Veloce” (super fast) and “Jota”. If we compare the novelty with the traditional Aventador, the SVJ has a lot of cosmetic improvements, the lion’s share of which is aimed at improving the aerodynamic characteristics of the car.
The company plans to release a limited edition of 900 copies. In addition, the company released a special version of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 also in a limited edition of only 63 cars. This was done as a tribute to the year of Lamborghini brand formation – 1963.
Exterior Aventador SVJ
The aggressive front area of the Italian hypercar has a stylish headlamp, a pair of narrow air intake holes and a brand new front bumper, equipped with several sections of air intakes and a lot of various aerodynamic elements. The novelty is equipped with ultralight materials, focused on maximum efficiency.
Their design is simple, but breathtaking. Every detail of the Aventador SVJ is made to give the car the best parameters in terms of aerodynamics. Its exterior is significantly different from that of the Aventador S. The team of designers and constructors was tasked with providing better downforce. As a result, the specialists were able to increase it by as much as 40 percent on both axles.
On top of that, they have reduced the drag coefficient by 1 percent. It is worth telling about the proprietary ALA 2.0 active aerodynamics technology. For the first time it was tested on the Huracan Performante. What is its principle of work? An electronic system coordinates the work of special flaps, which are located in many ventilation channels.
Thanks to this it is possible to adjust the downforce level, providing either higher speed or stable cornering. The side of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 2018 has received unlike anything else carbon fiber plastics on the sills, large air intakes installed after the side doors and huge “rollers” of light alloy with an exclusive design, which are shod in low-profile tires Pirelli P-Zero Corsa.
They are also complemented by first-class carbon ceramic brakes. The height of the ground clearance does not exceed the value of 115 millimeters. As before, the new Aventador has 21-inch rear wheels and 20-inch front wheels.

With the updated surface of the rear antifender, the company’s specialists were able to achieve better results. The ALA 2.0 system has been optimized, and with the help of the side winglets the swirls have provided higher downforce in the straight ahead and in the corners at high speeds.
Interior Aventador SVJ
Inside the fast SVJ there are almost no special differences from the standard Aventador model. The only thing is that its trim has a large percentage of suede and carbon fiber. When you find yourself inside the car, you immediately pay attention to the uniquely designed structure of the front torpedo, where special attention is paid to a huge central console, which is decorated with a large display of the entertainment center, a block of settings “microclimate” and a solid number of keys and toggle switches.
In front of the driver’s seat you can see the widescreen liquid crystal display of the dashboard. The modern three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, which has an undercut bottom rim in a sporty way, also catches the eye. The interior is designed for only two people. Two seats are bucket-shaped and have built-in headrests, as well as excellent side support.
As for the quality of materials and assembly, it fully corresponds to the premium class. Despite the status of the vehicle, it has a luggage compartment, but only for 140 liters. This compartment is placed in the nose area of the 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

The supercar is perfectly controlled with a steering system with a variable gear ratio (LDS), supplemented by a hydraulic booster. The company’s specialists were able to reconfigure the steering, ABS and ESP. In addition, they installed stabilizers, which are 30 percent stiffer.
The braking system boasts carbon ceramic disc devices. At the front there are 400-millimeter “pancakes” and 6-piston calipers, and at the rear there are 380-millimeter discs and 4-piston calipers. According to the company itself, the braking distance of the new 2019 Lamborghini Aventador from the 100 kilometers per hour mark is about 30 meters.
Like other cars of the Italian company Laborgini, the special version of the Aventador has a solid list of current assistants and technologies, which are responsible for the safety of riders. These include:
