Devel is a car maker based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, whose legal name is Defining the Extreme Vehicles Car Industry LLC; it is marketed as Devel Motors UAE. It became known for a single car, the Devel Sixteen, a hypercar shown at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show.
The prototype used a quad-turbocharged V16 engine developed by Steve Morris Engines. Devel claimed more than 5,000 hp for a track-only version and about 3,000 hp for a street-legal V16, a top speed of 350 mph and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 1.8 seconds. None of these figures has been independently verified by a third party. In June 2022 Devel revealed a production version with a V8 engine, estimated at 1,500 to 2,000 hp.
